Woodhouse Close Church Community Centre offers a twice weekly service for a Day Club, Lunch Club and Meals On Wheels.
Each service is provided every Tuesday and Thursday with the Day and Lunch clubs allowing local people to get together and have fun as well as enjoying a wholesome lunch.
The Day Club, open from 10am-2pm, offers activities including the use of PCs, bingo, games, quizzes and raffles.
The Lunch Club, which sits from 12 noon until 2pm offers healthy low cost meals and social time.
The Meals On Wheels service delivers healthy low costs meals to the door by a dedicated volunteer team.
Prices for the Lunch Club and Meals on Wheels are just £3.80 for a main meal and a dessert and can be ordered from the centre.
A spokesperson added: “We also offer a varied range of other services including a furniture project, thrift shop, parent and toddler group, credit union, art classes and other activity groups.”
