DurhamGate and Tudhoe District WI are hosting a Coffee Morning on Saturday 26 April at St David’s Church Hall in Tudhoe Lane from 10am until midday.
“There will be tea, coffee and home made goodies,” said Institute secretary, Barbara Schonewald.
“We would like to give a warm welcome to anyone who would like to chat and drink tea with your local WI group.
“This is an excellent opportunity to meet our members in a relaxed, chilled social setting and see what we get up to once a month.
“We meet on the third Thursday of the month at St David’s Church Hall, from 7pm until 9pm.
“We are a small friendly group of ladies, who enjoy socialising, meeting new people and trying new things.
“We are definitely not all Jam and Jerusalem,” added Barbara, “our county WI offers lots of crafts, excursions and on-line learning opportunities, so something for everyone.”
