Students from Whitworth Park Academy’s three Houses in the school: Willow, Poplar and Sycamore, worked together to raise money for Children in Need.
The students participated in a sponsored silence during the school day with maturity and respect.
Students had to be silent for lessons 1 to 3 and were able to raise a staggering £1,230.44 which will contribute to a very worthy charity.
Students enjoyed taking part in the sponsored silence and fundraising as it allowed them to raise a huge amount of money that will make a difference to other’s lives.
