Bishop Auckland Football Club is celebrating 125 years in existence with a ‘Weekend of Nostalgia’.
On Saturday 10th March, a display of club memorabilia, in association with the Durham Amateur Football Trust, will be available to view from 10am till 5pm with admission costing £2.
On the evening, there will be a question and answer session with some of the current squad members.
There will also be a film show of past Amateur Cup/ FA Cup highlights.
The bar opens 7.30pm with the question and answer at 8pm. Admission is £5.
On Sunday 11th March, Bishop Auckland Legends Weekend of nostalgia will play Bishop Auckland Supporters. Admission is £2 and it is £10 if you wish to play. The bar opens at 12.30pm with the match kicking off at 1pm.
From 7pm an ‘Evening of Nostalgia’ will take place, with special guest speakers Derek Lewin, Bob Thursby, Mike Greenwood and author/writer Alan Adamthwaite who will answer any questions about this era from 8pm onwards. Tickets are £10 which includes food.
