The Chilton and Windlestone 150 years group has teamed up with Chilton Town Council to help celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The group already have loads of old photos taking them up to the 1950’s and 1960’s but beyond this period they are struggling.
From the 1970’s onwards is usually the time when people started taking lots more photographs, so there will be plenty photos out there.
The plan is to create photo boards for the Queen through each decade of her reign and then create other boards that shows what we were up to in Chilton and Windlestone at the same time.
So dust off your old photo albums and have a peek through and if you have any that show places in Chilton, celebrations, events then drop them into the Town Council and we will scan them and you can pick them back up.
If you have any of the previous Jubilee celebrations that would be great too.
