Spennymoor Boxing Academy, for the first time in years, has needed to cap numbers and put a waiting list in place to cater for growing numbers in both Juniors and Seniors classes, despite recruiting three new coaches this season.
New starters interested in signing up for the coming season from September 2024 are asked to message the Facebook page @SpennymoorBoxingAcademy.
Meanwhile, boxers and coaches at the club are preparing for their next home show, which will take place at Spennymoor Leisure Centre on Saturday 13 April. The boxing starts at 1pm.
As always, this is promised to be a top-class afternoon of boxing, hosting 14 bouts, both male and female.
The club has also recently received notification that they have secured seven places in the Hull Box Cup in June and everyone is keen to put in the work to demonstrate the talent they have representing the town.
Robert Ellis would like to thank all of his coaches who volunteer their time to make the club a success.
For further information regarding tickets for the home show, contact Rob Ellis on 07968 205043 or see the Facebook page for general information.
