Vintage and Classic Tractor Rally

trinsLocomotion, the National Railway Museum at Shildon, will welcome vintage and classic tractors and stationary engines to the Vintage and Classic Tractor Rally on Sunday 13th July. There will be a range of vehicles on display, including a Villiers stationary engine No. 351 built in 1946, a Fordson Super Dexta built in 1964 and a 4” scale miniature foster traction engine named “Cleo”.

If you own a classic or vintage tractor or stationary engine, there’s still time to get involved. The event is open to agricultural and construction machinery of all descriptions – from small stationary engines traditionally used to drive hand tools; to larger ploughing engines, traction engines, and traditional tractors.

If you would like to register your vehicle for the event, or if you’d like more information, contact the museum’s Events Officer on 01388 771445 or email locomotion@nrm.org.uk.
