A Shildon dog walker has made the unusual find in Shildon’s St John’s churchyard of a classical guitar, similar to the one pictured.
By an amazing coincidence, the finder also happens to collect and repair guitars and has been able to clean the instrument and replace the strings, although he credits his dog with actually making the find.
The guitar has a particular distinctive feature which the owner will know, he told the Crier.
