Shildon AFC Under 7s stars Brandon Mills, Brody Roe, Marley Ross, Kian Smith, Jack Trowles and Joseph Brunston persevered after a tough season this year showing enough determination and skill to win their final match of the campaign against Primrose Hill.
A spokesperson for the team said: “We couldn’t be more proud of them. I would personally like to thank the boys for a wonderful season in which they kept us on our toes.
“Keep up the great effort for next season.
“We’d also like to give a big thank you to Samantha Russell.”
If anyone would like to join the team, the U7s meet on the Scouts Field from 5.30- 6.30pm on Wednesdays and 9.30am-10.30am on Saturdays.
