Bishop Auckland FC marched into the Third Round of the FA Vase after a comfortable 0-3 win at Stockport Georgians, courtesy of a Liam Henderson hat-trick.
Bishops now face a tough trip to Northern League Division Two side, Blyth Town, whose ten men saw off AFC Liverpool in their home tie.
The Two Blues travelled to the North West Counties First Division South side in great spirit after a thumping 12-0 home win over Tow Law in the league the previous weekend, which included hat-tricks by Marcus Giles and Louis Johnson.
Doubles by Henderson and Dean Thexton and one apiece for Andrew May and Benjamin Errington made up the compliment of goals struck at an average of every seven and a half minutes.
Their FA Vase hosts must have feared the worst having lost the previous week by 3-0 themselves and any fears soon proved founded when Henderson opened the scoring in the 17th minute, stealing in to glance home a near post corner.
Then a goal on the stroke of half-time sent Bishops into the changing rooms in bouyant mood.
A low hard cross from Burlace found its way to Henderson who sidefooted home.
And the result was put beyond doubt on 72 minutes when the forward converted after a scramble in the box to put the Two Blues into the next round.
The Third Round tie is scheduled for Saturday 2 December at the South Newsham Playing Fields in Blyth.
Next up for Bishops is the visit of Carlisle City to Heritage Park this weekend after the midweek Durham Challenge Cup fixture at Newton Aycliffe was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
