Bishop Auckland Station Trust (BAST) is looking into a graffiti attack on the local train station.
The incident took place on the evening of Friday 4th March and local authorities are working with the British Transport Police to track down the perpetrators.
BAST Chairman Michael O'Neill is disappointed with the attack, quoting, “As a locally funded group working to improve the attraction of Bishop Auckland, I am hugely saddened by this senseless act of vandalism. But nonetheless we will forge on to achieve all of our ambitions for both the station and the town, and work on cleaning up the graffiti will begin as soon as possible.”
