Tasty Artwork To Feature At Food Festival

An artist whose paintings feature cheeky gingerbread people, naughty food and roly-poly ladies will be displaying her work in County Durham next month.

Sarah-Jane Szikora has been added to the line-up for Bishop Auckland Food Festival, at Auckland Castle, on Saturday, April 17th.

Tyneside-based Sarah-Jane has exhibited her work at venues around the country, including Harrods and Selfridges.

Sue Snowdon, of Bishop Auckland Town Centre Forum, said, “We are delighted to be able to exhibit Sarah-Jane’s amazing work.

“Her pieces will be displayed in the castle’s throne room during the festival.”

Bishop Auckland Food Festival, organised by Bishop Auckland Town Centre Forum and Durham County Council, will take place between 10.00am and 4.00pm.

The annual event, which is one of the North East’s biggest free food festivals, will feature more than 100 stalls selling food and crafts from around the region.
