For the second time this year a Labrador was a ring bearer at a Saint John’s wedding.
It was back in April this year that Lauren Harwood married fiancé Brian Smith and this weekend, it was twin sister Danielle’s turn.
Storm, her black lab, was ring bearer, and wagged enthusiastically throughout the ceremony, greeting the bride with joy as she arrived at the church.
Marrying fiancé Paul Hayman, Danielle was accompanied down the aisle by her Dad, Robert Harwood.
The bride was arrayed in a beautiful full-length dress, with sash waist, and diamante and floral decoration.
Sister of the bride, Lauren, was bridesmaid and wore a dark blue full-length dress, while Storm sported a dark blue bow.
The guests, family and friends, were all smiles as Rev’d David proclaimed the couple as husband and wife, while Karl Guest kept order as best man, and Danielle’s brother in law, Brian Smith, served as usher and witness.
After the ceremony the couple and their guests retired to the Civic for a reception before travelling to Salou for a honeymoon later in the week.
