On Thursday, May 6th, there will be a Sportsman’s Evening in aid of the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland, to be held at the town’s Rugby Club.
Guest speakers at this event will be former Scotland and Newcastle Falcons player Doddie Weir and Steve Kindon, one of the genuine “characters” of football.
“Steve Kindon is a great raconteur whose contribution to any dinner is guaranteed to have the audience rolling with laughter,” commented a spokesperson.
Tickets are £20.00 (including a two course dinner).
