Spennymoor Youth and Community Centre’s Community Cafe is now open term time Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am until 1pm as part of the organisation’s Feeding Spennymoor project.
Thanks to funding from Places for People, the Centre is now able to offer a full cooked breakfast twice weekly which includes tea and coffee for just £4.50. There is also a regular menu of snacks, drinks plus hot meals for children.
Thursdays also includes Stay and Play for preschoolers and their adults with toys, music, bouncy castle, music and lights in the Centre’s hall, £1 per child.
