Sisters of Support join perfectly caring partnership

Sisters of Support founding directors, Carrie Howarth (left) and Amy Turner (right) met Kelly Urwin of Perfect Care to say thank you for their recent donation.

Carrie and Amy, founders of women’s mental health support charity, Sisters of Support, recently visited Perfect Care to thank them for their generous donation of office furniture and to see how they could work together going forward.

They met with Carol Jackson and Kelly Urwin and to say the meeting was a success, they say, would be an understatement.

“Perfect Care offered to pay for the care packs we have put together to give out alongside Newton Aycliffe Neighborhood Policing Team,” said
Carrie.

“And they wish to organise a separate care pack for women who are in desperate need. These packs will be ‘perfectly caring’.

“Their contents will help them to feel like a woman, no matter how hard things are, and every girl deserves that.

“Most importantly, and certainly most excitingly, Perfect Care offered to become Sisters Of Support’s first Corporate Partner.

“Sisters of Support are blown away by the incredibly generous offer.

“This partnership came with a commitment of £500 and to help support the organisation in whatever way they can.”

Amy, Carrie and all the women at Sisters Of Support would like to say a huge thank you to Perfect Care.

“It is partnerships like this one that ensure the work we do can continue and many more women may be reached,” they said.

Sisters of Support’s peer-led group meets at Lilburn Community Lounge in Shildon every other Monday.
