The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has announced that their Youth Start program is coming to Chilton and Sedgefield Tennis Club from 6 March – aimed at all 5-8 year olds.

LTA Youth Start is a starter course for young people, comprising of six high quality sessions, that introduce tennis to children in a fun and relaxed environment.

Sessions will take place weekly from Sunday 6th March until Sunday 10th April from 9.15am until 10am.
As well as six coaching sessions all participants get a starter pack which includes a new tennis racket and balls.

It’s perfect for those new to the game and wanting to give it a try.

Since its launch in 2016, almost 100,000 children across Britain have taken part in this programme.

Lessons are open to young people who have never played tennis before, or played very little, delivered by coaches near you all year round.

For just £34.99 (including £5 p&p) every child will receive six high quality group coaching lessons with specially trained coaches, the starter pack with racket, balls and wristbands as well as branded t-shirts and rewards for progress.

A whopping 95% have said they were happy with their first tennis experience.

At the sessions you can expect an enthusiastic coach who has attended LTA Youth Start training.

The starter pack wil be delivered right to your door.

It’s also an opportunity for parents to get involved and there is a follow-on offer to encourage the young starters to keep playing after the course is complete.
