The regular members of the Veterans’ Hub are very keen to promote this group and would like to see more from all services join them for what is turning out to be a great social gathering.
It is to be reminded that the Veterans Hub meeting on 15 November is being hosted by Locomotion Museum, where their staff will be on hand to direct you.
They have kindly offered to take the group on a guided tour of the facility and talk about what is on display.
This is a change from the normal meeting place and great that local attractions are keen to support this group.
At the last get together in October, the hub discussed the December meet up and decided it would be a good idea to move it to the evening for a Christmas drink and social so that veterans who may be working and unable to attend during the day can join them.
So come along and be part of this fantastic Hub and enjoy the company of other veterans in a warm environment.
Be part of the Shildon Veterans banter where you can laugh, joke, rib each other’s service regiments etc. but mostly be part of a friendly caring group of veterans in the town and surrounding area.
