Shildon AFC have announced their pre-season friendly schedule, all away from home, beginning with a friendly at Norton, now managed by ex-Shildon star, Adam Rundle and culminating in the Cleator Cup Final against Marske United.
The schedule also includes a showcase tie against Salford City FC, the club famously bought out last season by former Manchester United players, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.
The confirmed schedule is:
- Tues 7th July, Norton (A) 7.30pm kick off;
- Sat 11th July, Northallerton (A) 3pm;
- Wed 15th July, Heaton Stannington (A) 7.30pm;
- Sat 18th July, Salford City FC (A) 3pm;
- Wed 22nd July, Ryhope (A) 7.30pm;
- Fri 24th July, Tow Law (A) 7.30pm;
- Wed 29th July, Seaham Red Star (A) 7.30pm (John Hay Memorial Trophy);
- Sat 1st Aug, Marske (A) 3pm (Cleator Cup Final).
