Spennymoor Probus meetings are hosted in St David’s (Tudhoe) Church Hall, Tudhoe Lane.
The next meeting will be on September 22 at 10am. The speaker will be Ian McArdle, whose subject is “The Reverend and the Railway”. We will always remember the delightful Thomas the Tank Engine books from our childhood, and Ian has made a special study of Rev. Awdry’s works. This is a meeting not to be missed.
The meetings are open to all, and we look forward to seeing you there. Regrettably, we are having to make a nominal charge of £5 (inc. refreshments) to non-members, although this will be refunded on taking up full membership of the club.
