Sandra celebrates 21 years supporting Ferryhill Poppy Appeal

Ferryhill is proud to recognise the outstanding dedication of Sandra Nelson, who has devoted an incredible 21 years to raising funds for the Ferryhill Poppy Appeal.

Through her tireless efforts, Sandra has played a vital role in supporting the annual appeal, helping to raise significant funds for veterans and their families.

Her commitment, enthusiasm, and unwavering community spirit have made a lasting impact across Ferryhill and beyond.

Over the past two decades, Sandra has consistently given her time and energy to organise collections, engage with local residents, and ensure the continued success of the appeal each year.

Her work has not only contributed financially but has also helped keep the importance of remembrance alive within the community.
