Veteran Robert Gray, Standard Bearer and a committed member of the Ferryhill Station Branch of the Royal British Legion has been formally recognised for his outstanding dedication and service, receiving a County Certificate and commemorative tankard at Northumbria Royal British Legion County Conference earlier this year.
Robert has demonstrated unwavering commitment through his consistent attendance at all required training as Standard Bearer, proudly representing the Royal British Legion with dignity at both Branch and County events.
He has faithfully carried out the important role of Standard Bearer at funerals and acts of remembrance, often stepping forward to serve across the County when called upon.
His conduct has been exemplary throughout, reflecting the highest standards of respect, reliability, and devotion to the values and traditions upheld by the Royal British Legion.
