The Legend of Sayer Hicks, the brand-new horror short from award-winning County Durham filmmaker Dean Midas, is out now, and the early reviews are very positive.

The film, which premiered at the Odeon Luxe in Durham earlier this month includes American voice actor, Roger L Jackson, the famous voice of Ghostface in the Scream franchise providing the opening audio for the film.
Dean said: “This was a fantastic shoot, working alongside some amazing actors and crew. I hope everyone enjoys the film.”
Dean shoots all films on his mobile phone in venues across County Durham. This film includes scenes shot at the Honest Lawyer hotel, The Witham in Barnard Castle and High Lands Cottage.
