James Taylor from Thornhill Primary has won a competition to design his perfect walk to school.
James wanted to walk to school with a knight in shining armour, and the Local Motion team (part of Durham County Council) are going to make this walk a reality!
Local Motion are running a project in schools across South Durham called MEGA Motion, which encourages children to walk to school.
On Friday 19th April a knight in shining armour will meet James at his house and take him on a led walk to school.
There will be three led walks from around Shildon, with the children and staff encouraged to go in fancy dress on the day.
