Martin Roberts will be giving a talk exploring the rebuilding of Old Park Hall in the 18th Century by its owner, Dr. Thomas Wharton, in collaboration with his great friend, the eminent poet Thomas Gray.
Organised by Brancepeth Archive and History Group, the talk will take place on Friday 21 November at Brancepeth Village Hall. Please arrive at 7:15pm for a prompt 7:30pm start.
Admission is £2 for members and £5 for non-members, including light refreshments.
