When Approach Too began their journey nearly ten years ago, they reached out to the community and asked for support to help raise the aspirations and provide opportunities for children and young people in Ferryhill.
One of the first people to get in touch (and continues to always offer his enthusiasm and time) is the amazing children’s book author and illustrator, Stuart Trotter.
Glenys from Approach Too said: “Recently we were delighted to help Stuart out by finding him another up and coming artist to demonstrate how much fun his Little Football Fan book is. Odin happily stepped up to the challenge and he certainly didn’t disappoint. It’s safe to say we have found yet another amazing artist in Ferryhill. Well done Odin and thanks for creating yet another opportunity, Stuart.”
Stuart added: “Many thanks to Odin for sharing his excellent colouring in his LFF colouring and activity book. He enjoyed it very much, and he did an excellent job. It’s also a story book, written by Mark Williams, and the badge on the front Colour Your Team means that if you want you can dedicate all your colouring to the football team you love and support.
“Odin loves books, and I was more than happy to present him with a pack of Rockpool children’s books, which I’m sure he’ll enjoy.”
