North East Field of Remembrance

L-R: Louise Killip, Endeavour Woodcrafts Manager and Carole Atkinson, Ferryhill Station Royal British Legion Branch Vice Chair.

Once again Gateshead’s Saltwell Park will have the honour of hosting the North East Field of Remembrance, the biggest event for Remembrance in the North East.

The Field will be planted with crosses from Friday 24 October.

Ferryhill Station Royal British Legion Branch, like many more Branches in the County, have been invited to make a display contribution to the Field of Remembrance. With the fantastic help of Endeavour Woodcrafts, based in Ferryhill, Ferryhill Station RBL will be commemorated.

For those who wish to attend and lay a cross, they will be available to purchase from Saltwell Towers and the Civic Centre reception from Friday 24 October.

The dedication ceremony will take place on Saturday 1 November 2025 at 10.40am. Everybody is welcome. Branch Standard Bearer Robert Gray will be attending the ceremony.
