Nigel takes on Hadrian’s Wall

A volunteer at Shildon Alive is planning to walk the 84-mile length of Hadrian’s Wall in just 8 days to raise funds for the local charity.

Shildon Alive operates a food rescue project which saves tonnes of food each week from landfill to be redistributed through its community takeaway, shop and foodbank. It also supports those in crisis, offering advice and advocacy to people in need, regardless of their situation. It relies heavily on its volunteers and Nigel passes on his thanks to anyone who may be able to spare a donation.
