Shildon Town Council have secured funding from the Local Network (Bishop Auckland & Shildon areas) to install a Mulberry Memorial Tree within the grounds of West Road Cemetery, Shildon, which we are sure you will agree is a beautiful addition.
The tree is installed on the first roundabout leading into the cemetery.
Located near the ‘Post Box to Heaven’, the tree is made up of 16 individual branches and 15 leaves on each branch.
Leaves are available to purchase from the Town Council offices.
