Bishop Auckland’s Virgin Money Store, 15 Newgate Street, is appealing for donations of Easter eggs in aid of the Wear Valley Christian Centre (WVCC).
Louise Day, Virgin Money Store Manager for Bishop Auckland said, “We are collecting Easter eggs on behalf of the Wear Valley Christian Centre, who will distribute them to children in the area who otherwise might not receive one.
“I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone in advance who makes a donation, we are extremely thankful.
“You don’t have to be a Virgin Money customer to donate so please feel free to pop in to the store with your egg if you wish to donate.
“Last year we managed to collect over 100 Easter eggs and this year we are aiming to top that and put a smile on the faces of the children who receive an egg thanks to the generosity of our customers and the local community.”
