Mini Moors is open to all youngsters from ages 2-5 years.

Spennymoor Town FC has announced the launch of Mini Moors, an exciting new programme designed to introduce football to the youngest generation of aspiring players!

The programme kicked-off for the first time on Saturday 14th December but is open to anyone who hasn’t yet joined.

“Mini Moors offers a fantastic opportunity for children aged from 2 to 5 to take their first steps into the beautiful game,” said the club in its website.

“Sessions are set to take place every Saturday at Whitworth Park Academy in Spennymoor,” continued the announcement, “as we look to nurture the essential skills to help local children thrive on and off the pitch.

“Session times are: 9am for 2–3-year-olds and 10am for 4–5-year-olds.

“Mini Moors is about more than just football and we’re hoping to see all the youngsters that get involved building confidence, improving coordination and making new friends.

“Led by a team of qualified coaches, each session will be packed with fun, engaging games and age-appropriate activities to ensure each child feels encouraged, supported and, most importantly, has a fantastic time!

“Whether they’re kicking a ball for the first time or already showing a love for the game, Mini Moors is the perfect starting point and environment for young footballers.

“Spaces are limited, so don’t miss the chance to kickstart your child’s footballing journey with Mini Moors!”
