Ferryhill Town Council has announced the latest group to benefit from its Members Initiative Fund is Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC. Endeavour’s Finance and Admin Officer, Carole King attended a cheque presentation at Ferryhill Town Hall, where Cllr Kath Conroy donated £225 from her MIF allocation.
Endeavour is a day care service providing training and education for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, in the art of woodwork design and crafts. The CIC used the funds to replace its damaged fire door, ensuring the safety and security of its premises and service users.
Cllr Conroy said: “I am delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile organisation. Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC provides an invaluable service for vulnerable people in Ferryhill, and I am only too happy to support them.”
