Middridge through the ages

The exhibition was a great success.

On a hot and sunny August Bank Holiday weekend, Middridge Village Hall was brought to life with an influx of visitors, writes Middridge Village Association Secretary, Avril Haines.

The hall was buzzing with chatter, laughter and lots of memories from 11am to 4pm on both days.

The exhibition consisted of films, photographs, maps and fairy stories ensuring everyone who visited thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Some people even came back for the second day!

A recently published book about the History of Middridge entitled ‘Life on the Edge’ proved to be incredibly popular and anyone interested in obtaining a copy should contact middridgehall[@]gmail[.]com.

Thanks to all who helped.

Avril Haines
