Middridge history exhibition

In 2000, we held a Millennium History Exhibition in Middridge Village Hall showcasing the village, its buildings and its history, writes Avril Haines.

To celebrate the 25 years that have now elapsed, we have updated that exhibition to include recent developments.

Therefore, on Sunday and Monday, 24 and 25 August (Bank Holiday Weekend), from 11am until 4pm each day, Middridge Village Association are staging an exhibition in our newly refurbished Village Hall which charts the history of our village from the 16th century to the present day.

With a time line reaching back to 1066, the exhibition includes:
Stunning old photographs
Fascinating maps
Malevolent fairy stories
Videos and Powerpoint presentations

It promises to be a perfect day out for history lovers, families and anyone curious about the rich history of Middridge village. Don’t miss it, but do share and bring friends!
