Shildon Methodist Church has expressed its appreciation to the people of Shildon for their support during their recent fundraising for Christian Aid. The recent in-store collection at Morrisons by the Methodists was followed by a social morning at Plevna Mews, hosted by one of their members, and to date over £600 has been raised with more still to come.
“Well done and many thanks to everyone who supported us, it is much appreciated by our members but even more so by the many people who will benefit in times of need throughout this country and the world,” said a spokesperson.
