Bishop Auckland FC have announced that manager, Leon Carling and his management team will lead the club throughout the 2025-26 season.

Chairman Steve Coulthard said: “On behalf of the directors, I am very pleased that Leon and his coaching staff will be at the club for the rest of the season, next season and the forthcoming future.

“This will give the club stability and help Leon to plan for next season, learning from the lessons of this very different league we are in.

“The club are very ambitious. We want to get into the play-offs next season and want to give Leon and his coaching staff as much support as possible.

“With only 8 games left, four home and four away, this early announcement will hopefully help Leon talk to existing and new players for next season and help us push on in the NPL East.”

Carling added: “My ambition mirrors that of the club, so I am excited to be given the opportunity to commit further and I can guarantee I will work tirelessly to take a step forward and build on this season.”
