Magical folktale coming to Bishop Auckland

The Boy and the Seahorse will be at the Town Hall on 24 February.

Squiggle Productions are about to embark on their February tour of The Boy And The Seahorse.

In this magical Northumbrian folktale, set in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1899, we follow a young sailor boy as he embarks on his magical seafaring adventure to earn enough money to see his mother through the Great Winter.

The show is aimed at younger audiences as it explores children’s mental health and articulating negative emotion.

Written by Benjamin Storey and directed by Katy Weir, the show will appear at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on 24 February.
