Georgia Abbott, current Junior Miss Bishop Auckland Galaxy, competed in a charity pageant on Saturday 26th March at the Terrace Bar at St James Park, and has been crowned Junior Miss Newcastle Community 2016/17.
She will be representing them in the Miss GB Community Finals next year.
The successful secondary-schooler has also secured a finalist place in the National Elite Miss competition (to take place on Saturday 28th May) and, in September, she will compete in the Catwalk Perfect UK Final, representing Bishop Auckland as Teen Grand Finalist (just four days after her 13th birthday!).
On top of all this, Georgia was recently told she has secured a sponsored place in the Royal UK Miss Final on 30th July as a role model and ambassador, due to the profile and charity work that she has undertaken throughout pageants.
She has been taking part in various charity events and fundraising for Butterwick Hospice, FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together) and The Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust to name just a few!
However, Georgia wasn’t always this confident. She has been described as a shy girl who attended Etherley Lane Primary School and who has gained in confidence with every pageant.
She is now growing to be a self-confident secondary schooler, representing Bishop Barrington in the Year 7 netball team and doing charity events in her spare time.
