Sedgefield Water Polo Club has congratulated Lesha, who was selected to represent the North East U16 Girls at the Division 2 Inter Regions tournament held in Walsall recently.
The girls played two brilliant games against Scotland, narrowly losing in the last quarter, and secured a win and a draw against the West Midlands. Their performance over the weekend made everyone incredibly proud, and the coaches look forward to seeing them build on this success in the future.
Lesha joined the club as a 10-year-old in 2020, having only played polo for fun.
Her success in being selected to represent the region is testament to the hard work she puts into her training and her dedication to representing the club at matches and tournaments across the North East area.
