Knuckle Eddz Brotherhood give Emily a special prom send-off

A touching tribute to both Emily and her late father.

Members of the Knuckle Eddz Brotherhood came together to make a young girl’s Year 6 leavers’ prom a day to remember.

Emily Trotter was given a special prom ride by the club in memory of her father, James Trotter, who was a valued member of the Brotherhood. Sadly, James passed away from Covid-19 on 31 December 2021.

What started as a thoughtful gesture quickly became a memorable community event, with much of Shildon turning out to watch Emily’s arrival. Residents lined the streets, taking photographs and videos as the motorcycles escorted her to her prom.

While all eyes were on Emily, who was undoubtedly the star of the day, the support shown by the local community made the occasion even more special. As the ride came to an end and the club prepared to leave, those gathered gave a warm round of applause, creating a touching tribute to both Emily and her late father.

The Knuckle Eddz Brotherhood said they were delighted to be able to give Emily such a memorable send-off and were overwhelmed by the support shown by the people of Shildon.
