Hooligans celebrate 15 years

The award-winning Bishop Auckland Theatre Hooligans are celebrating 15 years of performances by staging their flagship show, The Pitheaps. The story follows 12 children and their summer on a County Durham pitheap, facing issues such as domestic violence and teen pregnancy.

The show will take place at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th January from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 & £3 and are available from the Town Hall.

  1. Myself, daughter and friend went to see The Pitheaps at the Gala last night. We all agreed an overwhelming performance from all of the cast. Absolutally brilliant. And yes I did recognise myself in that journey. These young men and women are a credit to themselves and Bishop Auckland Theatre Hooligans. Thoruoghly enjoy it.
