Old Shildon Homing Society’s latest race took off from Peterborough, 153 miles away, on Saturday 30th April.
The birds were liberated at 8.30am and the first bird arrived home at 11.45am.
Smith, Alderson & Spark have had a tremendous start to the season winning the first two races and on this occasion claimed the first four places.
Next home, in fifth, was D Taylor with W Stott & Son coming home in sixth position.
