Hackworth Park has had an upgrade

Shildon Town Council has been working to improve local facilities, with Hackworth Park being a key focus.

As part of this work, the bridge over the beck in Hackworth Park, which is widely used by residents and visitors, has recently undergone significant improvement.

The Council would like to thank D. J. Camp Limited for its support in delivering a new and improved bridge for the park.

The structure has been designed to be accessible for all users, while also taking inspiration from Shildon’s proud local heritage.
