Go Well Trails in a park near you

Participants doing the trails in the park.

Go Well Trails launched in Jubilee Park on 26 April in partnership with Spennymoor Town Council – and is LIVE for 8 weeks.

It is an interactive digital trail project designed to get more people active in the places they already spend time. QR codes are placed around the park and participants can follow trails, answer questions, learn new things and earn points as they go.

Move more, learn more, feel good

Community groups and schools across Spennymoor have been invited to be part of this initiative and so far we have 6 primary schools, Joanne Banks Dancers, Victoria Jubilee Junior parkrun and a General Public group all involved on a weekly basis.

New trails and quizzes are added each week with Spennymoor Town Council having written half of the ones that are accessible now.

With the May half term holiday approaching we are running two competitions: a challenge to see which participant can be the first to reach 500 points by themselves AND a fabulous family photo competition taken doing one of the trails by Sunday 31 May.

Entries can be sent to trails[@]go-well[.]org or you can tag us on Facebook @gowellwithus
