Young people are being encouraged to make their own monsters as part of a competition to win tickets to a new family show.
Monstersaurus!, the latest show from the team behind Aliens Love Underpants, follows Monty as he creates a world of wacky inventions and incredible monsters.
Anyone who downloads a monster template and creates a scary, silly or funny monster could be in with a chance of winning a family ticket to the show at Gala on Sunday, 4 February.
The templates can be downloaded from Gala’s website and once completed, should be handed into the theatre’s box office or emailed to boxoffice@galadurham.co.uk by no later than 12pm on Friday, 2 February.
One lucky winner will receive a family ticket to the 2pm showing of Monstersaurus! with two runners up each receiving a copy of the book.
Winners will be informed by 5pm on Friday, 2 February. T&Cs apply and are available at www.durham.gov.uk/comptandcs.
An earlier show is also taking place at 11.30am, with tickets priced at £12 (£10 for concessions), or £40 for a family ticket.
