After two years of lockdown, Pat Wiffen held her annual fundraising Tea Party, along with friends and family whose constant support made the event so successful. The chosen charity was the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS). Pat received a wonderful response.
29 raffle prices, 20 bottles of wine (another raffle), a fabulous tombola, and not forgetting good food, were all on offer at the event. On a hot sunny day, friends, neighbours and many more, enjoyed a fantastic afternoon.
The response was phenomenal, with the Tea Party raising an amazing sum of £855.
Pat said, “I cannot thank everyone enough for their support and donations including a £50 donation from the Lyons. Unclaimed prices on raffle tickets: numbers 146-500, 651-655, and 696-700 (please contact Pat Wiffen).
“Finally with friends Glynis McKenna, Moira Dunn and Anne Forester, we presented the cheque to Debbie a representative of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
“A special thank you to my great granddaughter Hannah, age 7, for being the designated photographer. It is a wonderful feeling when you can put on a tea party, bringing people together to do some good.”
Pat would once again like to say “Thank you everyone.”
