The congregation at Immanuel Christian Fellowship in Shildon are celebrating this week after being granted funding of £1,130 from Point North.
Pastor Richard Smith was thrilled to accept the cheque. He said: “We are so thankful for this donation from Point North and this means that we can now provide a free hot meal and drink for the nearby local residents each Friday, between 12pm and 1pm.
“We would love for people to come into Bethel Tabernacle here on Byerley Road to join us and find out about our church and services.”
