Wednesday, 5 November will see the return of Ferryhill Fireworks, to Dean Bank Park.
The event which is being organised by Ferryhill Town Council in partnership with AH Events promises to provide a bigger and better pyrotechnics display than ever before.
The ticketed event will include show rides, street food vendors, a DJ and a licensed bar (Challenge 25 applies).
There will also be an opportunity to meet your favourite character from K Pop Demon Hunters.
The display will take on a Rock the Sky theme, with fireworks choreographed to legendary rock music.
Gates to the event will open from 6pm with fireworks commencing at 7.30pm.
Entrance to the display will be £5 per ticket with children under 5 years being permitted entry free of charge.
Tickets, which went on sale from last Monday, 6 October, can only be obtained from Ferryhill Town Hall and must be purchased before 5.30pm on the day of the event.
Tickets are limited, so people are urged to purchase early as the event is expected to be very popular. Tickets will not be available on the gate.
The Fireworks Display will be a strictly ‘No Parking’ event.
There will be a limited amount of parking provided for blue badge holders, however, arrangements for this service should be made at the Town Hall prior to the event.
Parking in neighbouring streets will also be restricted to residents only.
Security arrangements for the Fireworks Display will be heightened.
Please avoid bringing bags to the event as marshalls reserve the right to search all bags which could lead to entry delays.
No sparklers, personal fireworks, alcohol, or pets will be allowed at the event and all children Under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Residents should also note that Dean Bank Recreation Park will be closed from 12 noon until 6pm on the day of the display to allow the organisers time to prepare for the event.
