Locomotion held its annual Fire Engine Rally on Sunday 31st August; a lovely sunny day.
The popular event featured a range of classic and vintage fire engines, including a 1978 Land Rover Series 3 Fire Appliance owned by Malcolm Paul from Chester-le-Street.
Other vehicles on display included a 1990 ex-Durham County Fire Brigade Dennis DS153 Fire Appliance, and an AEC Merryweather Fire Appliance with a 100ft turntable ladder.
Younger visitors also won prizes in the free-to-enter fire engine themed colouring competition.
