Ferryhill Town Council Annual Meeting

Ferryhill Town Council would like to thank everyone who contributed to this year’s Annual Town Meeting.  The event held at St. Luke’s Parish Centre on 26th May included presentations from Ferryhill Town Council, Ferryhill Ladder Centre, Supportive, Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC, Ferryhill Scouts, Ferryhill & Chilton Chapter and Ferryhill Women’s Institute.

Mayor of Ferryhill, Councillor Carole Atkinson opened the event, welcoming everyone to the Meeting and thanking them for their attendance before handing over to Councillor David Farry to present cheques for £873.00 each to Chance Drama, Rifles Care for Casualties and Ferryhill Town Youth FC, who were three of the five charities he had chosen to raise funds for in 2021-2022 during his term as Mayor.

The evening ended with light refreshments and the chance for everyone to look around the information displays provided by Ferryhill Town Council, Endeavour Woodcrafts, Ferryhill Women’s Institute, Churches Together and Cleves Cross Primary School, and to exchange ideas for the future.

Mayor, Councillor Carole Atkinson said ‘I would personally like to thank everyone who has been involved in this year’s Annual Town Meeting.  The event demonstrates what a fantastic range of community groups we have available in the Town, all of whom are doing a fantastic job. I am thrilled to have been a part of it.’
